Google Search’s Magical functions

I would like to share my knowledge on Google Search functions. I am sure you will be benefited at some extend.

All of us know that Google search is an excellent tool to search required information. But we are unaware of excellent features or utilities of Google search which help us on day to day life. I am quickly put it down here.

Google as a Clock:
Google search has an in-built clock that let you know time of desired location. You can check TIME of any CITY/LOCATION by typing following command on search box -
TIME {name of the place/city/country}

It also let you know sunset and sunrise time of any city of the world.  To know it, type “sunrise” or “sunset” followed by the city name.
Example: sunrise Ahmedabad

Google Search as a Weather forecaster:
Google search gives weather information of desired city. To see the weather, type “weather” followed by the city.
Example: weather Ahmedabad

Google Search as a Spell Checker:
Most of you have noticed that while searching a particular word or phase, Google auto completes it and show you on drop down. Even if your type wrong spelling and hit search button, Google will show or inform correct work by “Showing results for” (more common spelling) or “Did you mean: (more common spelling)?
Example: calcoum

Google search as a Dictionary:
To see a definition for a word or phrase, simply type the word “define” then a space, then the word(s) you want defined.
Example: define marketing

Google search as a Calculator:
According to me, this is one of the very useful functions of Google search for web users who are all the time on internet. Google solves your mathematic calculation right on the web browser. To use Google’s built-in calculator function, simply enter the calculation you’d like done into the search box.
Example: 12*345-67/89

Google search as a Unit Convertor:
You can use Google to convert between many different units of measurement of height, weight, and volume among many others. Just enter your desired conversion into the search box and Google will do the rest.
Example: 1 meter to feet

Google search as a Currency Convertor: 
To use Google’s built-in currency converter, simply enter the conversion you’d like done into the Google search box and it will provide your answer directly on the results page.
Example: INR to dollar OR 1 dollar in rupees
